Envigado & Sabaneta - airport transfers and your private driver

Book nowfrom COP 185,000 fixed · ≈ $55

South of El Poblado the valley turns into towns that were here long before the tourists: Envigado, with its plaza, its church and its gastronomic street, and Sabaneta, still organised around a park where the whole town shows up in the evening. This is where long-stay visitors settle - a month here feels like living in Colombia, not visiting it.

We bring you in from José María Córdova airport at a fixed price with the toll included, and if you're staying weeks rather than days, the multi-day service keeps the same trusted driver assigned to you: with a discount that grows with the stay: 5% from four days, 10% from a week, 15% from two weeks.

What to see and do

Parque de Envigado

The plaza that still works as one: church, benches, fruit stands and old men arguing about football. Evening is the good hour.

Calle de la Buena Mesa

Envigado's official restaurant street: a couple of blocks stacked with kitchens of every kind. The town's answer to Provenza, without the scene.

Parque de Sabaneta

Sabaneta at full volume on weekend evenings: families, street food and the church of María Auxiliadora, a pilgrimage site on Tuesdays.

Casa Museo Otraparte

The house of philosopher Fernando González, kept as a garden, museum and one of the area's loveliest cafés. An institution of Envigado's cultural life.

Parque El Salado

Envigado's canyon park: creek, trails and picnic spots twenty minutes uphill - the easiest nature fix on this side of the valley.

Where to eat

The Calle de la Buena Mesa alone justifies eating in Envigado for a week; Sabaneta answers with bakeries and fondas around its park.

Three names with years behind them:

La Gloria de Gloria

Envigado's famous chicharrón - a plate that has been drawing people across the valley for decades.

Café Otraparte

Coffee and simple food in the garden of the Otraparte house-museum. The most civilised pause in the south of the valley.

Sancho Paisa

The reliable fonda for traditional antioqueño plates when the family is hungry and nobody wants experiments.

How far is everything

Door-to-door estimates in normal traffic. Every row ends the same way: to move between neighborhoods, the comfortable option is a driver who waits for you.

Safety & booking FAQ

Is Envigado a good base compared with El Poblado?

If you're staying weeks, yes: quieter nights, local prices, real neighborhood life, and El Poblado's restaurants are 10–15 minutes away by car. For a first short trip centered on nightlife, Poblado is more practical.

How long is the transfer from the airport to Envigado or Sabaneta?

Between 50 and 65 minutes depending on traffic, fixed price with the Túnel de Oriente toll included. Sabaneta sits a few minutes beyond Envigado on the same corridor: same closed price.

I'm staying a month. How does the multi-day service work?

You book the days you need and we keep the same driver assigned to you for the whole stay: the discount applies automatically to everything that scales with the days: 5% from four days, 10% from a week, and 15% from two weeks on.

Do you cover Sabaneta at the same price?

Yes. Envigado and Sabaneta are both inside our metropolitan coverage: same fixed transfer price, same hourly service.
