Is it safe to get around Medellín this way?
Yes. You ride with a verified, background-checked driver in an insured vehicle from a licensed special-transport operator, and you can share your GPS trip with family. That's far safer than hailing street taxis or rideshare with strangers.
What happens if there's an emergency during the trip?
If anything unexpected or an emergency happens during your trip, your driver is right there with you: they help on the spot and, if needed, contact the authorities or emergency services (123) for you.
How do I pay? In dollars or pesos?
You pay in Colombian pesos (COP) and we always show you the US dollar equivalent. Your international card converts automatically, so you see the charge in USD on your statement.
Do I pay everything up front?
Yes - you pay 100% online when you book, on every service. Nothing is owed to the driver on the day: no deposit, no cash, no haggling. Only real extras you ask for during the service (extra hours, a destination outside the metro area) are charged separately, also online by card: never in cash.
What's included in the price?
Everything on the vehicle side: your driver, fuel, and every toll on the route - the Túnel de Oriente included. Site entries, meals and boat rides are paid separately, because you choose what you want to do.
Who am I actually booking with?
With a company registered in Colombia and based in Envigado, in the Medellín metro area, not an intermediary abroad. Your contract, your invoice and your support are all local, so there is a real Colombian company answering for your ride. You will find its registered name and registry numbers on our legal information page, linked in the footer.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel 24h or more before your service and you get 100% of your booking back, no questions. Inside the final 24 hours the booking is lost: your driver is already held for you and cannot be reassigned, so there is no refund and no credit. The same applies if you do not show up.
